Limit your intake of saturated fat: Aim to get no more than 5% to 6% of your daily calories from saturated fat. Saturated fat is a type of fat that’s solid at room temperature. Common sources of saturated fat include: Processed meat, Fatty cuts of meat, including ribs, poultry with the skin and highly marbled meat. Full-fat dairy products, including butter, heavy cream, cream cheese and sour cream, Coconut oil and palm oil, Fried food. 

Don’t eat trans fat: Trans fat is a combination of liquid vegetable oil and hydrogen. Traditionally, fast foods and processed foods had been major sources of trans fat in people’s diets. That’s because those foods contained partially hydrogenated oils, which gain trans fat through the manufacturing process. To limit trans fat in your diet, avoid eating.: Fast food, Fried food, Commercial baked goods, such as cookies, doughnuts and pastries.

Eat balanced meals: When trying to reach healthy cholesterol levels with your diet, it’s important to eat meals that contain a balance of: Fruit, Vegetables, Grains, Protein fofood, Dairy/dairy alalternative, Fats.

Some Super Foods That Lowers The Cholesterol Level :

Gooseberry: Eating one or two Amla daily can reduce the level of bad cholesterol in your body to a great extent.

Low fat curd: Curd prevents the formation of cholesterol and thus prevents hypertension and high blood pressure. Consuming curd regularly in the diet helps reduce the risk of high cholesterol levels and high blood pressure, thereby improving heart health. Make sure you have low fat homemade curd.

Garlic: A powerful property called allicin is found in garlic, which is helpful in reducing cholesterol levels. Its consumption also keeps blood pressure under control.

Spinach: Spinach contains lutein, fiber and other nutrients that help reduce cholesterol. The high antioxidants present in it prevent plaque accumulation in the arteries. Which reduces the risk of heart disease.

Broccoli: Broccoli is a superfood for the heart. Broccoli contains high amounts of fiber, which helps in reducing cholesterol, which also reduces the risk of blockage.
